Zoom Aerial captured high definition video footage of the Cotton:On Foundation’s Run Geelong for airing Channel 7 news.

Scope

Run Geelong involves over 10,000 entrants competing in running and walking events in and around the Greater Geelong City area.

Zoom Aerial was engaged by the Cotton:On Foundation Spiire to capture high definition video footage at key points throughout each course.

Challenge

The key challenges were the maintenance of safety parameters working around a large crowd. Under strict time constraints, two teams of UAV operators safely captured the required footage, safely navigating the key vantage points on the course.

Outcome

Zoom Aerial delivered 2 short video clips for use on the Channel 7 nightly news and archival footage for use in subsequent marketing campaigns for the Cotton:On Foundation. Feedback from the client indicated the footage exceeded their expectations.
